Four of our party were leaf peeping recently around the Old Forge area. This restaurant/bar was recommended to us. We arrived shortly after 11:00am for lunch. The hostess acted as the greeter, waitress, bartender and just about every other position. Our meals consisted of fish fries and chicken wings. The wings came out crispy, tender and flavorful with a choice of sauces. They were meaty and delicious. The fish fry was generous enough where two of us shared. The atmosphere was rustic but pleasant and the bathrooms were extremely clean. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are up in the Old Forge area. Also it is a pleasant ride from the city of Utica. Job well done!!

always driven past this notable landmark but never stopped until this week. needed lunch on the way home (rochester) from a camping trip at limekiln. stopped in a little after 11. fought a little with the front door but found out they were in fact open and serving food. the chicken salad melt sandwich is what dreams are made of. I've been wanting another ever since. my husband's BLT was good too, but he agrees chicken salad melts for both of us next time! and we will be back!

So I’m a local I don’t go here very much myself with six other people came here today for lunch today on Snowmobiles. This place was packed. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated to eat. All seven of us had our food within 20 minutes I could not believe it The food was delicious. There was one lady behind the bar doing it all and one cook cooking. All I have to say is wow this place was packed. We were in and out in less than an hour with full bellies and really good food we had burgers. and onion rings, and grilled ham and cheese. And it was all delicious. I highly recommend going here no matter if it’s busy or not. Thank you to the wigwam
